1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RentEaseTCI ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Platform. These terms apply to all users including tenants, landlords, and visitors.
2. Use of the Platform
RentEaseTCI is a property rental platform designed exclusively for the Turks & Caicos Islands. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
3. Accounts & Registration
To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. RentEaseTCI reserves the right to terminate accounts at its discretion.
4. Listings & Property Information
Landlords are solely responsible for the accuracy of listing details, including price, location, amenities, and availability. RentEaseTCI reviews listings before publication but does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing content. Tenants are encouraged to verify details independently before entering into any rental agreement.
5. Payments
All transactions facilitated through RentEaseTCI are subject to a service commission. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers; RentEaseTCI is not liable for payment failures caused by third-party services. Disputes regarding payments must be raised within 14 days of the transaction date.
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Platform to: post fraudulent listings, harass or discriminate against other users, scrape or copy Platform data without permission, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or use the Platform in any way that violates applicable law.
7. Limitation of Liability
RentEaseTCI is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Platform's reliability, accuracy, or availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentEaseTCI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will endeavour to notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Turks & Caicos Islands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Turks & Caicos Islands.
